Word of advice…..

If you are struggling with any problems, run, run, run, run as fast as you can. I mean the fastest you have ever ran. Let adrenaline take over. Run like you are crazy. Run, don’t look back. Run, run, run to JESUS!!!! Problem solved once you get there. Try it and let me know!!! He is the fastest and surest solution to all problems. Now you know!!!

To my hairdresser……

Dear Hairdresser,

Thank you for doing my hair. You see I am sorry my hair gave you a hard time. It was my fault. I should have looked for an African place instead. Since when did having a lot of hair become a problem. So you charged me a ridiculous amount of money. All I wanted was to curl my hair. I’m sorry it was hard for you. But don’t make me feel bad for having super thick kinky hair. Its not my fault. I am African to be specific Ghanaian. That’s how we roll :)

Best regards,

An unsatisfied customer.

I say….

I will sing of your goodness, You have brought me this far. For when I slipped you caught me in mid-air. When I knelt you lifted me up. When I cried you made me sing. When I smiled you touched others. Thank you soo much. Lord thank you for an amazing first year of university :)

Words professors speak…. Haha

One of you stated that “Standard deviation varies more in smaller samples so  the confidence interval is bigger in smaller populations.” I thought this was an  intelligent remark, if not entirely pertinent, until I realised that it was copied from my lecture notes and was therefore plagiarism.

Focus on the CROSS

Never, never, ever forget the great sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. The sacrifice that cleanses us from our iniquities and shines God’s light in our lives. Cling to the old rugged cross. Remember the pain of the innocent man who gave His life for us so that we may leave. The precious BLOOD.

I see the EYES

What do I look at most of the time when I’m walking on crowded streets?

First of all crowded streets can be a bit frustrating because there are sooo many disoriented people who can’t decide whether to walk left or right or to step on your shoes or walk on the path created by the government for walking. Hmm 3y3 asem.

The one thing which mesmerises me the most is the EYES!!! I love eyes. I like looking at eyes. Eyes are beautiful. Eyes are just pretty. Eyes, Eyes Eyes. Some people have amazing eyes. I’m not just talking about the shape of the eyes but also the colour!! Brown, black, hazel, all colours. Some people have eyes you just want to stare into all day long.

But war is declared if you are caught staring (sometimes). Hmm herh you don’t know London eh (so this is what i say to myself before i go on my eye hunting expedition). Chale me i dont like confrontations so  I do it in a subtle way. But there are some eyes you still keep staring at even when they have caught you. Sometimes I wonder what reason I would give when I’m caught. Here is a role play;

1) In my own world

person (preferably a boy with big brown eyes) : Are you okay? Are you looking for some place that you think I could help with?

me (still staring): No thanks. You have amazing eyes.

person: Oh thank you. You are soo kind. I have never been told before (lie). Where do you come from? ………………………………………………………………………………………….

me: ……………………………………………………..

Time duration: approx 1 hour

2) In reality

person (same person): What are starring for?

me (starring only slightly from the corner): erm I was looking for Carphone Warehouse.

person: That is absolute bullocks (in strong london accent). Its right in front of you!

me: gone with the wind

Time duration: approx 4 secs

All the same THANK GOD FOR EYES :)
